Parties & Events

Project Cosplay goes beyond the photoshoots, panels, and workshops; it’s about networking and hanging out too. Because of this, Project Cosplay will have a number of exciting extracurricular activities happening all weekend.

Friday Night Event

Grab two friends, two strangers, or two other cosplayers you find at Project Cosplay to compete in a fun and original crafting challenge.

The competition will feature teams of three competing against one another with a limited amount of surprising and challenging supplies to complete the construction of a costume in less than three hours.

The Project Cosplay Lip Sync Champion will be provided with a free mini 3D model of themselves in costume courtesy of Werks3D in Denver.

A cash bar will be provided in the event room as well as the hotel bar is just across the atrium and having your own alcohol available in your hotel rooms is strongly encouraged.

Registration for the event will take place at the venue with teams welcome to join throughout the evening. Please keep in mind we will accept cosplayers on a first come basis dependent on how much supplies are available.

The Iron Cosplay Challenge is meant to serve as a fun and entertaining ice-breaker event and is not to be taken too seriously. Please come with the intentions of having a good time whether you are just enjoying the competition or competing.

The Project Cosplay Iron Cosplay Challenge is brought to you by Project-Nerd and sponsored by Werks3D!

Saturday Night Events

Join the fun at Boondock’s Fun Center in Northglenn, just walking distance from the event hotel.

Boondocks has opened their doors to have attendees in costume and photographers present on Saturday evening for fun and entertainment. Enjoy the Go-Karts in your favorite Nintendo themed costume. Join the battle in the two-level Laser Tag room decked out as your favorite hero. And bowl, play games, as well as drink and eat dressed however you please.

Boondocks is not a sponsor of Project Cosplay and Project-Nerd, LLC has no affiliation with the venue. Although Boondock’s Fun Center is allowing costumes in, props and masks will not be welcome. Normal rates apply.
