Michael ‘Knightmage’ Wilson Leading Friday Workshop

Project-Nerd, LLC is proud to announce that charitable cosplayer (and all around great guy), Michael Knightmage Wilson will be joining us for Project Cosplay 2017 to present the Friday Dinner Workshop as well as other charity themed panels.

Michael will be presenting $100 & 2 Hours: Great Cosplay on a Budget, Project Cosplay’s Friday Dinner Workshop that will feature an italian dinner, cash bar, and a demonstration on how to create a quality budget costume in a very tight deadline. Michael will be answering questions and hanging out throughout his demonstration. Dinner Workshop tickets are not included with general admission and must be purchased separately.

Besides the Friday Dinner Workshop, Michael will also be presenting panels on charity through cosplay as well as participating in many of the great shoots.

As per our Project Cosplay promise, Michael Knightmage Wilson will not be setup as a tabled guest however Project-Nerd does intend to allow table space for him to collect charitable donations throughout the weekend.

A current 16 year veteran Deputy Sheriff, Michael has been cosplaying since 2012 but the love for the comic and video game genre has been in his heart since he was little. Having many of his creations praised and displayed on numerous platforms, Michael has hosted cosplay panels at many conventions showcasing the positive, inspiring and supportive side of cosplay.

Genuinely loving to entertain, make a positive impact and bring smiles, Michael most often uses his costuming by participating in many charitable events, benefits, parades, birthdays and hospital visits to children. This has led him to becoming a member of esteemed costuming groups such as “The League of Heroes, The Heroes Alliance-Ohio Branch, East Coast Avengers, Costumers with a Cause and Superheroes to Kids in Ohio”. Michael often works closely with local and national charity organizations as a sponsor, such as The Make-A-Wish Foundation, Putting Downs First , Angels for Animals and many others. This has led Michael to making the “Knightmage: Cosplay Against/Awareness Campaign”. In 2014 Michael was awarded the “Presidential Volunteers Award” for his charitable deeds through cosplaying.

Project Cosplay takes place at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Denver Stapleton on February 3-5, 2017. Tickets will go on sale June 1st and be available for just $35 for the entire weekend with prices increasing after the new year. Single day options will be available as well as there will be a VIP Package which includes access to both the Dinner Workshop and the Wrap Party for just $75.
